Hi, I'm Sarah, a qualified Health Scientist, a Registered Nutrition and Health Coach with the UK International Health Coaching Association (UKIHCA) and an Accredited Practioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and I abide by their codes of ethics.
I have worked as a Health and Safety trainer and have spent many years mentoring and assessing within a range of industries.
Carrying out volunteer work with the elderly in hospital settings, nursing my mum through end stage heart disease and working with a company that specialises in support for seniors, it has given me an understanding of the consequences of ageing.
I work predominantly with clients 40 + who would like to reduce their risk of age related diseases and maintain their strength and flexibilty as they age. We work together to look at ways to incorporate a healthy wholefood diet, reduce stress and improve sleep, as well as maintain physical health, social connections and lifelong learning. There are many things we can do to take ownership of our wellbeing but behaviour change can be hard.
By working with me, we can assess your daily habits and routines, prioritise your goals, work through existing belief patterns and create an individual action plan designed specifically for you. Using recognised coaching techniques and science led data, we can implement the steps that you need to reach your goals and achieve long term results at your pace.
There is no presssure of short term diets or exercise plans, just solid, science based steps, fully supported with evidence based information, practical skills, accountability and an ally, for you to get from where you are now to where you want to be.
I take a holistic approach to health coaching, focusing on the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. I work with my clients to identify their unique health goals and create personalised action plans that fit their lifestyle and needs. Using coaching techniques we explore behaviour change to empower clients to make sustainable choices that will improve their health and well-being for lasting change.
